The presentation of colors is provided by the Puyallup Tribal Color Guard, and the Conference is fortunate to have received a special tribal blessing for its success from the Puyallup Tribe, known in their native language as S’Puyalupubsh, which means “generous and welcoming behavior to all people (friends and strangers) who enter our lands.” These ceremonies are led by Puyallup Tribal Elders Michael Sisson and Clinton McCloud.
