Vanessa Carman

My name is Vanessa Carman. My trade career began 15 years ago when I applied to be a warehouse assistant for a residential sheet metal shop. I worked in residential sheet metal service and install for 5 years. In 2008, I joined Local 66 Sheet metal workers. I am currently a foreman at Hermanson company. I am a trustee on my local union's JATC. I am the Chair of Local 66 Women's Committee. I really love being a sheet metal worker. I think that it is important to give back, spread the word of apprenticeships, and to mentor our sisters along their journey.
