Rachel McAloon is an Apprenticeship Consultant for the Department of Labor & Industries Registered Apprenticeship Section. Rachel plays a dual role for the Department- providing regional consultant services for apprenticeship programs in southwest Washington, and is responsible for statewide outreach for employers interested in Registered Apprenticeship.

Rachel has been with Labor & Industries since 2013, previously managing and underwriting employers’ Industrial Insurance accounts with L&I.

Rachel enjoys working with employers and is passionate about providing great customer service. Rachel has a background in retail management and believes strongly in the importance of communication and teamwork. A native Nebraskan, Rachel studied Business Analytics and Strategic Communication at The College of Saint Mary in Omaha, NE- her hometown.

Rachel is actively involved in Washington State’s Combined Fund Drive; she won Local Coordinator of the Year in 2015 for her volunteer work with Labor & Industries.
