Perry England is the Vice President of Building Performance at MacDonald-Miller Facility Solutions. His focus at MacDonald-Miller involves helping commercial building owners identify and implement energy efficiency investments which pay for themselves through guaranteed operational savings. These investments save energy and water, support sustainability objectives, improve comfort in the built environment and create high-skilled, family-wage jobs. Perry is a passionate crusader and business leader for alternative delivery methods that motivate the public and private industry to deliver and operate buildings with a lifecycle performance assurance guarantee.
He has been actively engaged in making building systems work since 1985 as an air and water balancing technician while in college at the University of Tennessee. His career has encompassed both industrial and commercial applications as a practicing engineer for the Department of Energy facilities in Oak Ridge, Tennessee to managing the construction business for a building technology provider in the Pacific Northwest.
Perry is a Board of Director and President for the Northwest Energy Efficiency Council, founding member of the Seattle 2030 District, Executive Committee Member for Emerald Cities Seattle and is the Chair for Washington State Workforce Training and Education Coordinating Board.
Perry and family reside in Bellevue, Washington where his children, Zachary and Sophie, attend public schools. His wife, Cathy, is a registered nurse in Washington. Perry believes in our public education system and is a nine-year past Trustee of the Bellevue Schools Foundation. Perry enjoys entertaining, cooking and supporting the kids with their activities.
