Dan Ferguson MS has over thirty years of experience in higher education, non-profit management, health care and human services. He has a real interest in organizational culture and change management. Dan approaches work systemically and views challenges and problems as opportunities to grow. Additionally, he promotes an environment where active learning and lifelong personal and professional development is not only encouraged but demonstrated by leaders in service to others. In Dan’s current role as the Director of the Washington State Allied Health Center of Excellence, he is working to assist the community college system in understanding and adapting to the health care workforce changes due to the affordable care act.
Dan has undergraduate and graduate degrees from Loma Linda University. Dan has two adult children both of whom work in education. His hobbies include hiking, skiing, international travel and he is an avid tennis player.
